Camelia Neagoe

Camelia Neagoe is a choreographer and teacher. She graduated from the National University of Theatre and Film “I.L. Caragiale” with a master’s degree in contemporary dance.

Her activity is centred around contemporary dance and education through art, working as a choreographer and cultural manager. She collaborated, as a choreographer in different works like SHORA – contemporary dance performance and Stuck on the crosswalk – physical theatre performance. She initiated or collaborated in the development of projects with a strong social dimension like “Open through dance”, “StartDans”, “DansNomad” and frequently organises contemporary dance workshops for kids. Her artistic research revolves around the expressive force of the movement, understood as a core of opposable vectors, capable of creating space and sense, as well as around interdisciplinarity in arts.
